*The Case to Save America*
*WC: 857*
Once again, Montana sits at the political fulcrum of America. Although no one in the country stays up until 2 a.m. to see who Montanans will pick for president, more often than not in the last decade, our impact on the balance of Congress has been critical.
It certainly proved to be after my 2024 race. Because Montanans and a record margin of hardworking Americans delivered Republican control of the White House and Congress, we were able to deliver historic wins for the people of this country.
While much has been accomplished, it is an election year after all, and the old adage in politics goes, “What have you done for me lately?” As voters head to the polls in a few short weeks, it’s important to examine where we started less than two years ago and where we are today.
Under the 40-year-high inflation we saw while Joe Biden was asleep at the wheel, prices for everyday goods rose more than 20 percent. Today, inflation is running at three percent.
Thanks to Vice President Vance and the Trump administration’s focus on rooting out fraud in our healthcare system, we have canceled 760,000 “phantom,” fraudulent Obamacare enrollments, saving taxpayers $2.2 billion. By contrast, Democrats welcomed scores of dead people and illegal immigrants onto the rolls of our entitlement programs, driving up costs and choking off access.
Passing the Working Families Tax Cuts last year prevented a more than $4 trillion tax hike on working families, and thanks to that historic legislation, rural communities in Montana and across the U.S. are receiving more than $50 billion to strengthen and modernize healthcare access.
Our border has never been more secure. With illegal crossings now at multi-decade lows (virtually zero) and border apprehensions down 94 percent, Americans are seeing the benefits of commonsense border policies as states that cooperate with immigration enforcement account for the sharpest drops <https://x.com/DHSgov/status/2103480094480122350?s=20> in the cost of rent.
Last year saw the largest drop in violent crime ever recorded <https://www.fbi.gov/news/press-releases/fbi-releases-2025-reported-crimes-in-the-nation-statistics>, with the murder rate falling to the lowest level in over a century <https://www.axios.com/2026/01/22/murder-rate-century-low>.
The U.S. poverty rate now sits at its lowest level in recorded history <https://www.reuters.com/world/us-poverty-rate-102-2025-census-bureau-says-2026-09-15/>, American energy has been unleashed after years of overregulation, and we’ve seen trillions in new investment in the American economy as the president fights to reshore our industrial base.
Factories and production jobs are returning to America with record speed, and unemployment has plunged. Red states are seeing strong economies, plunging deficits, and business growth, while blue states are seeing structural fraud facilitated by their own governments, rising crime, homelessness, and their populations fleeing to better managed states.
Instead of working alongside Republicans to improve your life, Democrats opposed each of these achievements across the board. They chose to obstruct, send the country into the longest government shutdown in our history, and prop up the radical elements of their party seeking to divide us with blatant antisemitism, transgenderism in our schools and locker rooms, and outright Marxism in the halls of government.
As has been the case since 2016, the national media’s severe diagnosis of Trump Derangement Syndrome combined with a high-stakes election cycle will have the airwaves covered with talking heads playing their favorite game: ignore the facts and contort the narrative against all Republicans without quarter.
To be sure, we aren’t perfect. But as you fill out your ballot this fall – at your kitchen table or in the voting booth – it’s critical to remember the simple choice you have: American dynamism or civilizational decline.
Across the nation, the leading Democrats making headlines are not the Democrats your parents and grandparents may have voted for. The rising stars on the left today are not problem solvers; they’re avowed socialists determined to turn our country into the communist hellscapes that generations of men and women have fled in search of our shores.
If you want homeless encampments, refugee fraud, crime-ridden communities, dirty streets, men in girls’ bathrooms, taxpayer-funded sex changes, runaway inflation, and overbearing government, vote Democrat. The “moderates” of the modern left are standing down, refusing to condemn the lunacy of the far-flung reaches of their political base, and cannot be trusted to hold the line for common sense, you, or your families.
If you want a secure border, safe streets, a strong economy, policies meant to champion American families, and old-fashioned common sense, vote Republican.
Election years tend to play to our biggest fears and worst impulses. An entire microeconomy exists around media bigwigs and political attack dogs profiting off sensational headlines, misleading narratives, and negative ads – but Montanans know better. We will not let the media and angry headlines obscure who is actually looking out for you and your family.
If the first two years of my term as your senator have shown me anything, it’s that we need reinforcements – not a return to the failed policies and left-wing lunacy of years past.
This year, I’m asking Montanans to take a stand once again for common sense. With so much at stake, we must send Aaron Flint and Kurt Alme to D.C. and Troy Downing back to the House to continue the fight.
Our country depends on it.
